Friday: Read Act 1, Scene 1 and bring in a list of three questions about it.

American Literature

Monday: Write three “stump questions” about our writers’ historical context: one for Jefferson and/or Paine, one for Douglass, and one for King

Tuesday: Make up a study guide to share

Friday: Read from Emerson’s “Self-Reliance,” p. 245- 247

9th Grade Literature and Composition

Monday: Review for test

Tuesday: Review for test

Thursday: Put a story you know into the hero cycle handout

Friday: Read first five pages of Gilgamesh (p. 14-19)

Writing and Organizational Skills

Monday/Tuesday: Write one more paragraph for your research paper

Thursday: Write our your Works Cited page for the sources you have so far

Friday: Put at least three citations in the text you have so far: two idea citations and one quotation citation.
